Who We Are

About Us!

About our wonderful Playgroup!

Camrose and Roch Playgroup serves the communities of Camrose, Roch, Keeston and Nolton but is open to children from all areas of Pembrokeshire. We provide a safe and happy environment for children from the age of 2 to school age.

We believe in learning through play and provide a place where children can access a wide variety of experiences both indoors and outdoors that will encourage them to grow into confident learners. Our aim is to provide a quality structured learning environment that takes into account each child's individual developing needs. We also follow a healthy eating programme.

The playgroup teaches through the medium of English but incidental Welsh is used throughout the session so that the children are introduced to the language before they start school.

The group is managed by an elected Parents Committee, is a member of Early years Wales and has had an excellent Estyn report which is available for parents to view by following this link: Camrose and Roch Playgroup | Estyn (gov.wales)

How you can help!

We always encourage parents to get involved with the playgroup. Please let us know if you would like to join the committee meetings. Many friendships for children and parents alike have been formed here!

A few ideas include:

- Joining the Playgroup Committee.

- Attending one of our fundraising events – in the past we have attended craft fayres, had car treasure hunts and Physic medium nights to name just a few!

- Organising a sponsored event – there are no shortage of fun activities which can raise money!

- Ask your place of work if they offer charitable grants – many companies donate money to charities or match their yearly fundraising income.
